Danze’s main retail outlets are in plumbing and home remodeling showrooms, where retailing space can be expensive.
There’s limited space for Danze to display its broad range of products, and showroom resellers are often distracted by other brands’ offerings and inconsistent sales tactics. In order to stand out among this busy in-store environment Danze turned to EX Squared to design and create a kiosk application that assists in-store shoppers with choosing the right solutions for their homes.
Solutions
EX Squared crafted an industry first: a fun, interactive touchscreen experience with large images and detailed information on hundreds of Danze products available at a tap.
The kiosk fits right into Danze’s showroom wall displays, with attractive design and video features to attract people passing by.
The digital kiosk features large product photos and renderings, visual search results and easy ways to quickly narrow choices by faucet style, finish color and more.
This self-serve solution engages potential customers until they’re ready to connect with showroom staff to complete the sale. It’s the perfect solution to Danze’s retailing needs.
Results
EX Squared designed, developed and hosted the digital touchscreen kiosk software, installed in over 100 plumbing showrooms across the U.S. and Canada.
The innovative Showroom of the Future project garnered awards for Danze, and led to a companion iOS room-visualizing smartphone and tablet app, and a casino game for trade-show marketing.
By combining high-tech with high-touch, EX Squared helped Danze successfully realize its vision for the Showroom of the Future.
